All around Makabi, which happens to increasingly change through urban planning, the sendagusa grass can be found. It is quite common all over Okinawa and tends to stick onto the clothes of people passing by. We want to collect the grass with children and use it to create a picture of Makabi. It will be exhibited inside the park in front of the Makabi jijikai.

Behind the name KANIMEGA hide two artists born in Miyakoshima, Okinawa. Their main focus is to offer a new point of view on all day objects and surroundings. KANIMEGA made a guide book style film on the interesting sites along main street no.58 and created cards illustrating the Okinawan seasons.
